The New Palace Theatre Organ Heritage Centre, Todholes, is open daily from (Monday to Saturday, Easter to October) and is owned by the Scottish Theatre Organ Preservation Society, a registered Scottish Charity and operated by STOPS Enterprises Ltd.

The Centre houses the 4/45 (soon to be 5/45) unique Hilsdon Unit Orchestral Pipe Organ. In 1993 the Hilsdon organ of the Playhouse cinema in Edinburgh was donated to STOPS by Apollo Leisure, the current owners of the theatre, with Historic Scotland insisting that to safeguard its future, it should be removed and rebuilt.

The current instrument is an amalgamation of the following Hilsdon organs:

3/35, ex Playhouse Theatre, Edinburgh.

2/8, ex Palace Picture House, Edinburgh.

3/10, ex Picture House, Paisley.
