The Southern area boasts what was Europe's largest Wurlitzer, formerly in the Trocadero Cinema, Elephant and Castle in South London. For many years it was installed in the London South Bank University, and is rated as one of the finest in the world. It is now being re-installed in the magnificent Troxy, Stepney, a venue which will do full justice to this wonderful instrument.
The fine Compton at Clayhall is among the other venues used for concerts and open console events. Also, monthly recorded music and picture evenings are held in central London.
