Mark has been interested in the Theatre Organ from and early age and is currently Southern District Secretary of the Cinema Organ Society. After classical organ studies as a teenager, Mark was educated at the Royal College of Music and the University of Oxford where he was organ scholar at Keble college. Mark has studied with several well known organists including Gerard Brooks Margaret Phillips and David Sanger and continues to perform and enjoy the classical organ repertoire. After a gap of several years, Mark reacquainted himself with the theatre pipe organ and has recently taken part in several concerts and looks forward to developing this side of his music making in the future. Mark is currently Assistant Director of Music at Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith and Director of Music at Putney Parish Church. Outside of school time he is involved in rehearsing and directing a number of ensembles and frequently plays the piano for musical theatre productions and singers.
